Vata (air and ether) manages all movements in the body. Pitta (fire and water) governs digestion. Kapha (water and earth) promotes structure and connectedness
If an imbalance does arise, Ayurveda has specific diagnostics to identify the root of the ailment. The treatment plan includes implementation of herbs, bodywork and alternatives to diet and lifestyle. Ayurveda utilizes it’s comprehension of the Doshas to keep the body and mind in quality health.
