Chief Executive Officer

Rich Bello is a Life Coach and Business Consultant who motivates his clients to develop the inspiration, strategy, and accountability required to propel their professional and personal lives to the next level of success. At Arootah, the Center for Inspired Action, Rich teaches and has taught various seminars and workshops on topics such as Leadership, Goal Setting, Project Management, Accountability, Time Management, Communication, Influence, Decision Making, Mindset, Discipline, Focus, Energy, and various other topics. Rich has a deep-rooted passion for both professional and personal development. His primary motivation is to understand what drives individuals and teams to maximize their performance. After comprehensive research, Rich designs strategies that inspire and encourage individuals to become more effective in their vocation and personal lives.

As a Co-Founder of Blue Ridge Capital, Rich serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer, a role that he has held for over 23 years. Blue Ridge Capital had $10 billion assets under management at its peak and averaged gains of 15.4% annually since inception. Prior to Blue Ridge Capital, Rich held senior positions at Morgan Stanley, Tiger Management and Ernst & Young, after graduating from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Rich was instrumental in the founding of mentor, an established leader in high school and college mentoring, that currently serves over 9,000 students mainly from low-income communities. Rich now serves on the Board and continues to provide direction, inspiration, and encouragement.

Furthermore, Rich is in the editing process on his book, The Return, managing your internal and external resources due to come out next year.

Kim Levin

Kim Levin is an entrepreneur. She was the President of the Women in Business Council at the University of South Carolina and graduated with honors cum laude with an internationalized BS in Corporate Finance. Following her lifelong talent for art and fashion; she studied abroad at Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Florence, Italy and obtained a degree in Fashion Design at the prestigious Parsons The New School for Design.

After successfully completing internships on Wall Street in the Credit Ratings department of S&P (in their Consumer Products, Retail, and Restaurantsratingsgroups)and at the fashion house J. Mendel, she worked at Ralph Lauren and PVH. She has been fit modeling with True Model Management since moving to NYC, working on collections sold around the world. Ultimately starting her own consulting venture surrounding business development, design, and manufacturing.

She was drawn to Life Coaching as a budding entrepreneur, gaining momentum with her company ArgentousKim. Reaping the rewards of Personal Development and Coaching, she felt compelled to join Arootah to spread the knowledge to even more people. She lives in NYC and as a former gymnast, is passionate about yoga.

Raed Marji

Raed Marji has 8+ years of experience in technology products, and a passion for biohacking and human optimization. He was chosen to be a Google ambassador at age 19 and has been an alchemist of value ever since whether it’s cooking the next big startup or making Kombucha.

Raed has worked with top company builders in Germany where he developed a strong drive to bring value to customers while keeping sustainability always in mind.

He brings a unique combination of skills having worked as both a Product Manager and as a Developer to take technology to the next level by gathering qualitative and quantitively data around customer behaviors and building user experiences that bring joy to customers.

He joined Arootah to help maximize the potential of others by building tools that help humans heal and grow in hopes of a stronger future for humans, earth and the universe.

Sam studied Accounting at The College of Staten Island and runs the recruitment part of Arootah.

Starting off as a day trader, Sam soon after found his passion in the recruiting space. He specializes in high volume recruitment across different verticals.

He used to play poker professionally in New York and New Jersey, and occasionally still plays for fun. Sam likes sushi and New York style pizza and enjoys traveling. His favorite trip was to Ibiza, and he is looking forward to visiting Australia and South Africa later this year!

Dr. Lawrence Edwards

Lawrence Edwards, PhD, LMHC, BCN has been teaching and practicing meditation internationally for over 45 years. Dr. Edwards was awarded his PhD in Psychoeducational Processes, clinical psychology track, in 1986 by Temple University, where he was honored as a University Scholar. He trained as a monk in India, in Tibetan Buddhist practices, and Jungian psychology. He is licensed by the state of New York (LMHC) where he offers transpersonal psychotherapy, spiritual direction, biofeedback and neurofeedback training to children and adults for stress reduction and enhanced performance training in sports, business, and daily living.

He also offers neuro-biofeedback training to individuals with clinical issues such as ADHD, headaches, stroke, anxiety, closed head injury, PTSD, and spectrum disorders. He is the founder and director of the Anam Cara Meditation Foundation, in Armonk, NY; a non-profit organization dedicated to making meditation practices available to everyone; and has done meditation training with hospice staff, physicians, and nurses. He has offered seminars on the science and art of meditation at hospitals, universities, businesses, and professional conferences. He has been on the faculty of New York Medical College since 1998. Dr. Edwards the author of The Soul’s Journey: Guidance From The Divine Within, Kali’s Bazaar(a collection of poetry), and Awakening Kundalini: The Path To

Radical Freedom. He has worked with a former Olympic coach, using biofeedback to train elite swimmers from the US and Europe.

Bob Quintana is a highly successful entrepreneur with well over 30 years experience in business/entrepreneurship in management consulting (sales force development/peak performance), and as a real estate investor. For almost 15 years he owned and operated the #1 franchise within the Tony Robbins Training organization; taught training initiatives to top executives throughout North America, and in Europe. His clients included a diverse group of organizations like: JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Ford, AT&T, Carnival CruiseLines, The City of Miramar, Florida, Prudential Insurance, Cisco Systems, and many others.

He considers himself extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to work with over 27,000 business associates, over 200,000 customers, and extraordinary leaders on his expanding team! Bob absolutely believes that true leadership is about service to others! When Bob isn’t actively helping entrepreneurs build their businesses (and his own), he is very passionate about contributing to at-risk youth here in the U.S., and to children/families in Kenya, Africa. She’s also a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certified professional with exposure to process improvement, transition management, search engine optimization (SEO), digital marketing, E-commerce website, mobile applications, web design and creation, workforce management, and people management. She is a strong operations professional with a Bachelor of Arts focused on Mass Communication/Media Studies from one of the Philippines’ top universities. She loves traveling and learning new things. She speaks two languages – Filipino and English, and now is learning French.

Diana is Head of Human Resources and Administration. Prior to Arootah, Diana was Director of Human Resources and Administration at Blue Ridge Capital. She has supported Rich in an administrative role Rich for over 20 years. Diana received her BBA in Marketing from Iona College. Her interests include traveling, running, and hiking.

Sean E. Chillemi, is the owner and primary practitioner of Ren-Shen Healing, in Tarrytown, NY. Sean is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Asian Holistic Health and Massage, as well as a dual degree of Bachelor of Professional Studies and Master’s of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. In addition, he has also obtained certifications in Kyo-jung (Korean Physical Manipulation), Medical Qi Gong, and is a Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Other credentials include Memorial Sloan Kettering certifications for Acupuncture and Medical Massage for the Cancer Patient. His studies in Oriental Medicine began after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Pace University.

This career change came after he was diagnosed with skin cancer at age 21. During this difficult time, Sean learned and appreciated the importance of alternative medicine in healing the mind, body, and soul. In return, he is dedicating his life to helping others restore their energy and health. Sean is currently obtaining a Ph.D in the Integration of Eastern and Western Medicine with a focus in Neurology from the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine located in Shenyang, China. He is driven by an unrelenting desire for knowledge and skill to aid in the healing of others.

Matt heads the finance department. He also currently works at Herman & Company CPA’s PC. Matt spent 6 years at Epoch Investment Partners on the Quantitative Risk and Analytics Team. Matt’s prior experience includes similar roles at Franklin Templeton and Clay Finlay LLC. Matt holds a BS in finance from Lehigh University and a Master’s degree in accounting from St. John’s University. He is currently working towards his CPA certification. Matt loves to cook and travel.

Shayla graduated with a BS degree in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Delaware. During her time there, she studied abroad in Paris, France, where she held internship positions for numerous fashion houses. Shayla enjoys playing tennis, meditating, traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, and of course, shopping.

Melisa Tezanos is a global marketing and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience. Recognized as one of PR Week’s 40 Under 40, Melisa has held key roles in Fortune 50 companies, including head of financial communications for PepisCo, head of marketing communications for Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Max and senior director of investor relations. Melisa also held senior roles at General Motors’ on the financial communications and Chevrolet marketing teams. While at GM, Melisa also managed global communications for the company in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East. Most recently, she was Head of Communications for Standard Industries, a privately held, $6 Bln. global industrial business. Before receiving her masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, Melisa was a founding member of Blue Ridge Capital. She received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a focus in biology from Amherst College.
